Following on from the Government’s Announcement on the 22 January concerning the re naming of Veterans Day to Armed Forces Day, the Andover Branch of The Royal British Legion is to hold their own event on Vigo Park Andover which will be similar to last years successful event but with more content.  The event is scheduled for Sunday 28th June 2009 and will consist of Static Vehicle and Helicopter Displays, Arena events by Re-enactment groups, Band Display, Parachute drop and a Thanksgiving Service.  Click here to view their website.
