Word War II Re-enactors Magazine |
79 |
WW 2 Re-enactors Magazine launched on the 29th March 2009, a collaboration of
work from husband and wife team, Stuart and Sarah Humphrey. Stuart has been
involved in re-enacting for around 8-9 years and has been interested in WW2
since his late Granddad recollected his adventures on the coastal batteries.
With 16 years sales and publishing experience under his belt he also comments,
“The idea to bring a dedicated magazine just for the WW2 re-enactment arena is a
dream come true. We aim to keep alive many accounts from the men and women that
witnessed this era in our history as well as bring the re-enactment community
closer together by offering a magazine that truly reports and brings to life
events, groups and the personalities associated with this hobby”. You will be
able to buy your first issue direct from Edon Publishing Mid-June. Alternatively
you can visit them on their exhibition stands at this year’s War and Peace Show
in Beltring in July and Detling Military Odyssey in August.

Your Family History Magazine |
1 |
Your Family History magazine is different from other genealogy magazines you
might have seen in two important respects. Firstly, we’ve assembled a team of
leading experts, researchers and historians to show you not only how to discover
who your ancestors were, but also guide you into the rich local and social
history that brings context to their lives.
Nick Barratt, a lead researcher
from the BBC’s “Who do you think you are” series, is the Editor-in-chief and is
joined by a number of genealogy experts on the editorial team.
Your
Family History magazine features a range of topics each issue, linking your
personal research with local and national heritage themes through our
connections with English Heritage, National Trust and the world of
archives.
