Firepower Museum Woolwich SE London
A tabletop military radio
market and junk sale in Woolwich is a new event for 2007! The Vintage Operating
Group (M0VOG), are holding an indoor table top sale and display of working
military and vintage radio(not surplus computer) junk. Subject to the weather
radio display vehicles are invited outside providing further working displays,
on the open gravel area. The Regular Army anticipate providing a display. Five
minutes walk from Woolwich Arsenal railway station and a few minutes from
London Buses. Woolwich Free ferry is 10 minutes walk along the river bank to
the East. Plenty of free car parking on site. Costs/charges, a map and further
details see web site. Those selling equipment will need to provide their own
tables, though the museum may be able to help, by prior agreement. The museum
can provide pre booked tables for display items, either for clubs wishing to
display and advertise or for individuals who can provide an interesting display
of vintage radio equipment, military or otherwise. The event is aimed to
promote military and amateur radio and its association with the Firepower
museum. Bookings – Michael Buckley (M1CCF) 0208 654 2582 or email
