What is your role and title at War & Peace?: Founder and organiser (29th infantry) 116th reg A Company "Hell and back"
Are you happy in your role or is there something else you would prefer to do?: Sitting on a beach in Jamaica
How many years have you been involved in War & Peace and why did you become involved?: Every year since beginning
What do your friends and family think of your involvement, do they support you and in what way?: The years of therapy failed
Do you travel far to War & Peace, how do you get there and in what?: 35 miles, military vehicles
Why do you keep coming back for more?: It’s the paramount military show in the world
What do you enjoy most about War & Peace and what could you add to it?: the space to create and the backing to do so
What do you enjoy least about War and Peace and what could you do to improve it?: air of violence from the beer tent late at night
If there were anything you could change about War & Peace what would it be and how would you assist in making these changes?: the site needs revamping as the general public are more disearning than in past years
What is your job in the real world, have you always done this and do you have any military background?: retired - was attached to military intelligence 1973-76
What is your favourite story about your involvement or a friends involvement in War & Peace?: andy formella falling in the river and having sickness and dioreah for two weeks.
How do you see the show developing in the future? Will you still be involved and what can you do to promote the future of War & Peace?: if the W&P show is to survive it must evolve into a more hands on experience for the paying public with interaction as paramount. gone are the days when people would turn up with a military vehicle dressed in green wellington boots and a bobble hat. My group constantly strives for authenticity all be it theatrical as re-enactors we become actors.
What military vehicle clubs do you belong to and when did you join?: MVPA USA, when Neslon still had his eye
Do you assist in any other military shows and in what role?: only as battle re-enactors
Would you support a war and peace show club?: No
Do you own a military vehicle, did you restore this yourself, and are you involved in re-enactment? Have you ever been a trader?: Yes, many
Do you have photographs of your vehicle(s)?: Yes, I will add them to my gallery

What is the attraction for you about the whole military scene?: We strive to keep alive the memory of those gallant young men who lived and died on the beaches of Normandy and the streets of Berlin.
When and where did you first become involved in the military hobby?: Ministry of Defence whitehall
If you had a never ending budget which would be the 5 vehicles you would buy?: M4 Sherman - Another M4 Sherman - M16 Halftrack - Tiger 2 - Another M4 Sherman
Which is your favourite bar at War & Peace and why? And where do you most like to eat?: None, in my kitchen
Other than War & Peace what is your idea of a perfect weekend?: Sitting on a beach in St Lucia eating fish and drinking beer surrounded by semi clad women.
