Official in charge of Big Monktons fields.
looking after people camped there setting out the road's and camping area's in Big Monkton weeks before the show starts.
Member of the War and Peace Display Team,
Taking part in parades, see photo 4.
Assisting with the W & P display team's special show convoys. i.e. 2007
Convoy of Steel - Red Ball Express -Reo Thunder - Die Deutsche Parade - and Wheels of Victory.
One of the W & P display team personnal in period uniforms to meet and greet the public at the main Hop Farm Entrance during the Show period.
Escort for VIP Guests and Veterans at the show in modern day military police uniform and driving my husbands jeep.

I also do the translations for the website & all the Rules and Regulations which apply at the W & P Show,
I am also the German translator for Danny Butler's 29th Infantry Division, ‘HELL AND BACK’
On the last day of the show I help the Big Monkton Team make sure that the people on big Monkton's Field have a safe exit home we then clear all the stacks and tidy up ready for our exit on the Monday

| How many years have you been involved in War & Peace and why did you become involved?: |
I went with my husband to the War & Peace Show in the early 1990s since he liked the show so much that this was the start of joining the Show every year, and since we are a team I like to get involved as much as I can, in 2001 I became one of the War & Peace Officals in 2002 and been there ever since.. |
| What do your friends and family think of your involvement, do they support you and in what way?: |
My friends can not believe that I get involved with such a dangerous hobby. |
| Do you travel far to War & Peace, how do you get there and in what?: |
I live 1 Hour away at Hythe Kent, and I drive my car there while my husband takes the jeep |
| Why do you keep coming back for more?: |
Since we are a team (Husband & Wife)I look forward to July when we all can have some more fun again even if it means working our socks off but it is with great enjoyment |
| What do you enjoy most about War & Peace and what could you add to it?: |
When we start working about 2 weeks before it is such a peaceful place you can loose yourself quite easily, you will see all your friends from the previous year, it is just like a fantasy world once you go through the gate your are the same as everybody else no matter what your ocupations outside the gate everybody just enjoyes the build up to the show |
| What do you enjoy least about War and Peace and what could you do to improve it?: |
Packing up on the Monday to go back to normal work. |
| What is your job in the real world, have you always done this and do you have any military background?: |
I am a Office Manager for a German Paper Company which has been around for 150 years in East Berlin I love my job
Well, it seems that I have been in the Military since 1990’s

| What is your favourite story about your involvement or a friends involvement in War & Peace?: |
I just enjoy the show seeing some of the old veterans listing to their stories, having the honour in driving them round the show, I just love the show. |
| How do you see the show developing in the future? Will you still be involved and what can you do to promote the future of War & Peace?: |
More exciting things being planned new items on show that people have not seen before bigger and better battles and more exciting dioramas appearing in the living history field and the entertainment tent getting better.    |
