What is your role and title at War & Peace?: General helper
Are you happy in your role or is there something else you would prefer to do?: Yes, but don't mind doing anything.
How many years have you been involved in War & Peace and why did you become involved?: 1998-2007 so far.
What do your friends and family think of your involvement, do they support you and in what way?: It is my hobby and they see it that way.
Do you travel far to War & Peace, how do you get there and in what?: I live in Cobham, Surrey and travel to War and Peace by my trusty three wheeler.
Why do you keep coming back for more?: The friendly atmosphere and company.
What is your job in the real world, have you always done this and do you have any military background?: I am retired.

I do have a military background. I started in the Army Cadets (East Surrey) then served in the regulars from 1957-1969. From 1969-2000 I was an instructor in the Army Cadets. I also did welfare work for the PWRR and regimental standard bearer.
How do you see the show developing in the future? Will you still be involved and what can you do to promote the future of War & Peace?: As a way of promotion I hand out posters and leaflet at shows I visit.
What military vehicle clubs do you belong to and when did you join?: CCMVT from 2000.
Do you assist in any other military shows and in what role?: Elmbridge Steam and Classic Vehicle Show (Military Section) as a Volunteer and the Aldershot Military Show helping on the stand.
Would you support a war and peace show club?: Yes.
Do you own a military vehicle, did you restore this yourself, and are you involved in re-enactment? Have you ever been a trader?: No.
Do you have photographs of your vehicle(s)?: No
Do you have photographs of your re-enactments?: No
What is the attraction for you about the whole military scene?: I spent so much time doing it for real so thought I would do it as a hobby.
When and where did you first become involved in the military hobby?: Since I was in the Cadet Force.
If you had a never ending budget which would be the 5 vehicles you would buy?: A32

Which is your favourite bar at War & Peace and why? And where do you most like to eat?: Kitcheners because of the atmosphere.

In the canteen as Pauline's dinners are so good.
